At the beginning of June, the construction of the pig farm with accompanying infrastructure was completed, which are A part of the Orahovo farm complex. Fattening facilities for pigs are a part the farm, which have been intensively under construction since the first day of work on the expansion of the existing farm’s capacity. In addition to existing pig facilities, new, same-purpose buildings are added, in accordance to new equipment and technologies that automate the process at a higher level and thus facilitate the operation of facilities.

In addition to the facilities, a new part of the sewage infrastructure has been built, which collects the liquid manure mass and leads it to a nearby new biogas power plant. The new infrastructure is linked to the existing one with certain corrections. Pig fattening facilities are added next to the already completed facilities for cattle fattening and biogas plant that closes the complete range of the use of manure from the farm and returns back the energy it produces. Building permit was obtained on January 15th 2019. Processes of obtaining utilization permit for pig buildings is to follow an is tne next step in the fonalization of documentation.
